LAYOUT

By Brian Harder.

This month, our command of the month is gratis the Learning Assistance CD.  Hey, I ran out of time, okay?

USING LAYOUTS TO DISPLAY YOUR DESIGN

Each layout represents an individual sheet of paper. Add a border, title block, and floating viewports showing model space geometry to the layout to create a drawing of your plot.

Choose the layout tab to create a layout.  Use the Page Setup dialog box to specify plot device, print area, paper orientation, plot offset, paper size, and default scale.  Use a layout template to import DWG or DWT files with title block information into the current layer.  Use AutoCAD® DesignCenter™ to copy layouts between drawings.

In this lesson you create two layouts in a single drawing.  Designing a Layout Using a Layout Template Copying an Exist Layout.
