What do I need to work in AutoLISP
AutoCAD 2 something or later – NOT AutoCAD LT
An ASCII text editor
- Should be able to work with multiple windows, cut and paste between them, save any extension to pure ASCII.
- Parenthesis check and autoindentation are very helpful.
- Notepad works, but also try Tony Tanzillo’s LISPPAD, or Visual LISP from AutoDESK (demo available from their Web site)
- Many other generic ‘programming’ editors, around on the internet.
