Creating rotated objects is fast and easy when you use grips.   Click on the objects that you want rotated, select the grip that you would like to be the base point, drag the grip and click.
You can create copies of rotated objects that will be symmetric about a base grip or some other selected object.  To do this select the object (s) that you need to rotate then select the object that will serve as the center point.  This can be achieved using the grips of each selected object and then deselecting the object that will be the center point.  Now click on the grip that will be your base point and drag the cursor in the direction of desired rotation.
